CLOTHING Bottoms: Jeans, khakis, capris, knee-length looser skirts, shorts that are knee-length. (Please no leggings as pants or yoga pants. We will ask you to change if clothing is not appropriate.)
Tops: Casual shirts with sleeves and appropriate neck-line, t-shirts, pajamas, raincoat, sweaters, a heavy coat, etc. for layering (the weather here changes often!)
Cold Weather Gear: hat, gloves, scarf (for those coming in March)
Footwear: Socks, comfy closed-toed walking shoes according to the weather. No open-toe shoes for street ministry. We will be going on one hike in the mountains, so good tennis shoes, and comfortable clothes to hike in.
NOTE: You will need one or two street ministry outfits you will wear ONLY on the streets, but can keep it the same clothes each day. You will have to change out of it when you get back from the streets daily. So for example, bring two pairs of jeans, one for streets and one for regular activities, or two hoodies one for each.
You might have a cot or will be sleeping on the floor. Please bring pillow and sleeping bag. If you’d like to bring a sleeping pad or mat in case of sleeping on the floor, it might be helpful. It gets cold at night, so bring as much as you can to stay warm!
